Nice crop there! What kind of sauce are you making, cooked or fermented?

My grandaddy's special recipe! A cooked tomato based hot sauce that goes great with everything from fried shrimp to grilled meats

What kind of peppers do you have in that first picture?

The sauce seems to have a nice texture. Do you strain it to remove seeds?

The peppers in the pic were sold to me as datil seeds.. I'm dubious that they are true datils... But what they are is HOT and prolific. There's also some habanero mixed in and a few reapers.

No need to strain seeds, it all gets pulverized in a Vitamix.

What about the bitter flavor of the seed itself?

Honestly, I can't discern any bitterness in the sauce. It tastes like happiness! Hot.. spicy.. happiness.

I did remove the reaper seeds to try to propagate a few more plants.
