Hi Everyone, i'd really appreciate some advice regarding my bath room renovation. I fell in love with this one bathroom.

I love the shiplap planks and definitely want to incorporate them into my bathroom. Also i am thinking about designing the shower similarly with subway tiles. I would die for that claw foot tub but unfortunately that is not happening. In her bath room however, the shiplap planks cover the whole wall. I think my bathroom is too small for that, it would look crowded.

where she did an accent wall with shiplap and the rest is just bare. Her bathroom is layout is very similar to mine, except where she has a tub i have a shower, which i do not plan on changing.

My question is, should i base my design more like the second bathroom and leave all the walls from top to bottom bare and just do an accent wall? or should i pave it with something like subway tiles at least half way since my shower will also have subway tiles to have some continuity.

This photo is from houzz that i also like a lot, but i think i want to do my floor tiles more like the first bathroom, unless people think it's too "busy" for a small bathroom.
