Where to site lycoris and colchicum?

I am about to dig and divide large clumps of both lycoris and colchicum. Not only do they need to be divided, but they need to be moved as they're both being taken over by Annabel Hydrangeas. Where do you put these? Should I put them in the front yard or in the back so the whole neighborhood doesn't have to endure the uglies? Hide them in the hostas?

I have daylilies. I'm going to try this! And maybe put the lycoris behind them?
"I’ve achieved a similar effect by positioning colchicum corms diagonally in front of daylilies. The foliage of both plants emerges early, but the colchicum leaves grow faster. By the time the daylily leaves are fully extended, the colchicum leaves are dying back. In fall, when the colchicums bloom, I cut down the daylily foliage, which is usually looking ratty by then."

That sounds like a great idea! I can't stand the late summer foliage of daylilies and also need an open spot for the colchicum flowers. In general the spring leaves don't bother me, but I do have quite a few now so maybe that will change.
