That was a big tease by TOC last year! It sure looked pretty exciting streaked like that. It is amazing how they can return as if nothing ever happened, isn't it? If we didn't take pictures of these phenoms, people (unfamiliar to hostas) wouldn't believe us!

I think it is the actual instability of hostas that makes growing them so exciting!. Like ... "Life is like a box of chocolates....you never know what you're gonna get".

Vera. Your hostas are looking great. Sorry about frost damage. We here in Finland had also weird weather and i think everywhere in Europe. Still very cold, but atleast not any more frost. Nights are cold, sometimes near freezing. My hostas are still tiny pips.

Lovely hostas and garden! Your garden looks so nice now, are you sure you want to move things? I have frost damage on my early risers here, I don't remove the leafs, they aren't so noticeable when the plants fill out. Thanks for sharing!

Linda's Garden, Let's Twist Again seems to be a good grower, just like Wheee! Lakeside Lemon Squash is going to be quite slow. And they both are beauties. I'm glad you like them.

sherrygirl, I don't really want to move anything ))) Still I have to move some hostas or primulas, they need more space.

Only gardeners can see the weeds, and they won't comment on them because they know better. I had non-gardening friends over last weekend and I don't think they can tell the difference between the plants and the weeds! That's a good thing!

True Kathy, but gardeners can't help but see them... and of course I would never say anything, but it's hard not to bend over and pull them! A gardening friend of mine, and I, have shared a laugh about this.
