I would suggest dilute the leachate and then you can use it to water your plants... as far as the smell of the leachate is concerned, I wouldn't worry as long as your bin isn't stinking. To dry out a bin just add more dry bedding material... to speed it up you can leave the lid off and for even faster drying you could use a fan on a very slow speed as long as it won't blow the bedding around. I personally wouldn't worry too much about a wet bin as long as the bin is not emitting any foul odors. And if it is, then stop feeding (especially any wet foods) and "fluff" the bedding and also add a lot more dry bedding.

Thanks Monomer. I left the window open near the Worm Factory and kept the lid off for most of the day. A pretty decent amount of the lechate drained off and I succumbed to my nerves and lifted my top tray and *whew* worms in the lower tray are active and well. I appreciate the help and link!
