Are you adding this stuff for the worms or for your plants? If the goal is for the health of your "veggies and citrus trees" and its going to be powdered up, why not add it to the finished castings just before applying? Not quite sure of your plan and its purpose so let me say this... be careful not to add too much salt (from the fresh kelp) to the worm bin, maybe rinse the stuff really well first before drying and powdering up. I think adding all that stuff (seaweed, dynamic lifter, rock dust) would be fine to add to your worm bin, if you add it slowly over time and in moderation, allowing the worm bin inhabitants to adjust to the change in environment and diet...

Yep thanks for the detailed response much appreciated.in hindsight it's labour intensive to collect the kelp from the beach. I've added a sprinkle of the other ingredients over some fresh food to the bins along with some cornmeal and they are going nuts. It's been 6 months since I started all bins so early days . Thanks again and will take your advice on board
