They will need to settle in after moving, but low light levels will reduce blooming. How many hours of sun? Is the shade bright or deep, dappled or full? How does this site differ from their former situation? Adding a photo of the plants and site in question may help get an answer.

Thanks so much for your comment. I'm still trying to figure out the light. It changes a lot. Before the trees leaf out there's a lot of light. Each tree is different. The horse chestnut is very dense but light sneaks in at at angle in the afternoon. The Linden tree is better as it's more cone shaped and the Norway maple is so tall it lets in pretty good light. It's my second summer here i'm still learning what does well in different spots. The property is only 50' wide but about 290' deep with a small stream and woods around the back side. It was all grass and trees but i ran planting beds around the trees about 100' long on each side. Tons of different birds, some raccoons and even bats are here. It's been a real project but a lot of fun also. Having about a dozen bats flying around my head eating mosquitoes at dust was amazing. I'll post pics when i have time. Again thanks.

Sounds like a lovely property. One option would be to limb up the trees if after a couple of years they haven't started setting flower buds. You will need to keep an eye on moisture under the trees, particularly the Norway maple which has shallow roots, and you may need to broadcast some fertilizer over the whole area if they begin to look peaked.
