Dining room decor

I have a beautiful pine 6 seater table and need help with the following:
1. A rug! I want a round rug but need help with colors AND a good type of fabric good for under it. It is sitting on top of grey tiles and white brick background. We turned half of this room into a little breakfast beachy bar so need a color contrast that won't be too harsh against the bright colors
2. Centerpiece. I have NO idea what kind of center piece I should get for this table. But I know it needs SOMETHING.

9 years ago- 9 years agoDon't use a round rug. Too matchy. Try square or rectangle. A wide stripe Navy and white would look great.
