It is highly unlikely that a Howard Miller clock movement would be faulty. That said, it has happened rarely over the past 15 yrs that we've offered the product for sale. If the clock is DOA (dead on arrival), simply report that to us and we will ship you a new clock free of charge. If Howard Miller wants the "bad" clock back, they will include a pre-paid label for return. If the 2nd clock is DOA (extremely unlikely, in fact, I don't believe we've ever experienced that with a Howard Miller clock), we will send you a prepaid return label for the return to us or Howard Miller. Therefore, after the 2nd attempt, you will not have to pay return shipping or a restocking fee so long as upon its return it fails for us in testing. If it fails after the 2nd attempt, you get a full refund. If it is returned and we find it in good working condition, there will be a 15% restocking fee and re-coup of our return shipping costs.
