The same here, Esmeralda. I am going to wait for few days on feeding, until the sunny days come back and the soil is dry, then I will feed them.

Seems like it's wet everywhere! I got around 6 inches of rain over the weekend on top of already soggy soil. My in-ground trees are in standing water and still two more days of rain predicted,

I do not use it myself, Laura or other citrus friends who use it would be great help to you. I use compost tea and worm castings for my citrus and other edibles, for non fruiting trees and house plants I use Miracle grow half dose every 10-12 days.

I know osmocote is released according to temps, and I assume moisture, too. But even so, it is supposed to work for a few months, so I don't think you need to add more.

Hopefully you have the pots elevated off the ground for best drainage.

Esmerald, I hear you loud and clear!! This weather sucks! Not only has it been rainy, cloudy, drizzly, but darn right cold. A whopping 46 degrees today and we are well into June. It's almost frighting. Then we will wake up to 90 in a week or two and hopefully our short temps are not short lived or I am moving...

I only use Osmocote once, in the spring, I have the 3 month release because by the time it works, it works consistently in June and stops at the end of August. That's perfect, just in time for fall when it's time to pull back on fertilizer anyways..I use that and once a week Foliage Pro. My trees thrive with my system and this rainy weather. Thank god we use porous mixes or we would be in deep doodoo. I think it's finally going to warm up and be sunny for more than two days in a row after weeks of of this cruddy cold stuff)))).

.I live just 30 minutes form the beach, which seems to be the last place to clear, get warm, and the first place to drizzle. We can thank this every day sea breeze for that! Can't wait for the winds from any direction except from the ocean then our slow release fertilizer will kick in for good.

same here its been a wet wet spring though it helped with all my new planting n transplanting .

I wouldn't worry about overwatering from rain . citrus originated in South n east Asia where they get tonnes of rain as long as the medium has good drainage. I too use osmocote+ but only as a spring top up .for this weather is do foliar spray of foliage pro.
