Hello. I recently bought some (nine) Bhut Jolokia plants from my local nursery. They are outside and doing well with fresh leaves emerging from the crown and I can see some flower buds starting. My question is, there are a lot of leaves growing from the base and main stalk. Would it be beneficial or advisable to trim those off? Any other pointers for pruning to promote a better yield? Thanks.
