I'm having this problem myself. I am looking at long, low transparent mini greenhouse that is more or less like a big row cover. Low so it's easier to anchor against wind and I could stop having to take my plants in and out all the time. If anchored well on the windward side, the other side can be flipped over to open it on sunnier days. Cost is about $35 here but the draw back is that it's only 3 feet tall and about 8 feet long. So it wouldn't work well if you have trees taller than that.

I've also been looking at mini greenhouses kits that are tall enough to walk into. But the standard complaint with most of them is that they are flimsy crap if there's wind.

All you need is a removable clear cover to keep off the rain but not air movement or light. Anchoring it is the issue so it doesn't become a kite. With that in mind there are lots of free plans for erecting PVC hoop houses with greenhouse covers. You don't necessarily even have to cover the ends if you want air flow to keep it from getting too hot as all it needs to do is give them shelter from too much rain.

I don't know how many adenium you have but I face the same problem. I have clear plastic umbrellas over mine so they do not get wet nor does the soil and in the winter here in Tampa Florida when it gets cold I put a blanket over the umbrella

Thank you for response I have fourteen plants and a few cuttings. I will use some fishing netting and plastic on top.

Make sure you secure it very firmly against wind as that's the biggest trouble.
