Pics, please! I keep contemplating a section of cinder block fence. Slow always recommended a product that had more stick to it, but I can't remember the name right now.

I would bet you have already solved this. I use silicone to hold tess and when I am worried they will slip I tape the heck out of them with masking tape until the silicone sets up .

Is the wall wood or cement? I can not tell by the photo. Most times wood will expand and contract and pop your mosaic off. Just a warning if it is wood. If it is concrete have a blast. I LOVE large projects. Hope you come back to see this.

Thanks Shades. Yep definitely cement render over bessa block. Thought about using some sort of clamp system.

I'll post a pic when its done. Atm its the middle of winter here so not doing much in the way of mosaicing outside lol

Oh I am so jealous of your wall. Another thing you could do is smaller pieces stick well you could do the outline then cut mesh to fit inside the outline to work on then install. By then the out lined area should hold up the new installed on mesh. Honestly though good old masking tape works well to put a hold on pieces It is how I glued the bottom sections of 40 inches by to 12 inches wide up on the walls.

I've already mosaiced onto about 8 pieces of mesh so they'll be going on a complete bits.

I'm sure I'll work something out and as you say good old masking tape works wonders..............

So I stuck the first piece of the Rainbow Serpent on the wall this afternoon. Hopefully hubby's 'method' works. Here's some pics. And one of the body of the serpent. 8 pieces done. 2 to go.

It will be about 10 foot long when finished.

When it's
all up and grouted I'll repaint the wall and regrout the mosaic along
the top of the wall.
