Whenever I lift the hose reel off the mulch next to my foundation, I see these suckers. Are they ants or termites. If termites, I had always been told that termites don't feed on wet wood...

Also, I found what is obviously a termite dirt tunnel on the top of my
basement cinder block wall, next to the wood sill on which the house rests. I can't see any damage no matter where I poke around, but the tunnel disappears behind a
dry-walled area. Who knows how long they have been active. Assuming I have the house treated with Termidor, should I just not worry about whatever damage might be hidden, or is it important to start tearing down walls to look for damage?
