I'm in Rose heaven!

My front hill has mostly landscape roses, nothing extraordinary and I don't even like the design of it. I just kept buying stuff and finding places for it.

However, my first spring flush is happening, and every day is so exciting to go see how things are blooming. Almost everything is going now. A couple got nibbled by deer unfortunately.

I'm just awestruck by the beauty of a mass of roses. Even humble ones. I can't wait to visit a real Rose garden. These photos don't look that impressive but in person it is a delight.

That looks great. I have a bed like yours that was not planned. It was just a bed that I kept putting roses in. It's a mish mash of colours but when things are blooming it just makes me happy. Thank goodness for impulsive plans working out!

Thank you! It's so exciting. I can't imagine next year when all my bare root roses are more mature.
