Nice Brad! I like the color of Isolde, looks like a much sought purple!

Does Amethyst Art always have that look like it is not a double? I like the color but I couldn't tell it was a double from what I've always seen as a double.

Julia, Amethyst Art generally has 2 or 3 neat layers. The one today does have a partial second layer which is hard to see from the picture. Here's a picture from a previous year when it had 2 or 3 layers.

Sherry, yes Isolde has a great dark purple color; at the beginning of the season it is usually a bit splotchy, but that tends to clear up as the season progresses.

Now I can see it Brad. I don't ever recall seeing a double like that one though. Most are all layers upon layers. This is a nice difference. :)

I am one that actually likes white midribs. Early spring splotchiness is not unusual, but so far, this spring is much better than last.

I like both of them, Brad, but especially the Amethyst Art.

Like Mantis, I also tend to like white midribs. I very much like the color on Isolde.

Brad, Isolde was one of my very first John Lambert daylilies before I even knew about Lambert daylilies and is still one of my favourites.. It is a lovely deep purple and holds up well in the weather .
