Hi birdman i personally dont think its the hight i have seen some crazy lifting the big thing is to slowly introduce it back into the sun i think shang made shade cloth covers to wrap around his to let a little sun onto the newly exposed part i just leave my plants in a place out of the sun untill you see it starting to change colour its hard to give a time frame its depends were you live . There is old threads to have a look at :)

the height is fine. like peter said, start it out in a shady area (part sun) for a few weeks. looks like a nice plant. have you had it bloom? do you know the var/vars [I see the grafts]? Next time you can raise it another inch to show off the nice roots. Be careful not to overwater. Welcome to the forum 'bama.

Na, your grafts should be fine. Over time they'll smooth out though it can a good long while for them to fade when they have been split like that. Depth looks fine. The others already covered concerns about light watering at first until you see active growth, and easing it into sun slowly over the weeks so it doesn't burn the newly exposed lower portion. Sunburn is bad and can cause rot so take that seriously.
