My friends Phal put on a beautiful show of large pretty white flowers on 2 branched flower spikes but is now finished. Something is growing about 2/3 out on one of the bare spikes about 3 inches long. I'm not sure if it's another spike or maybe a keiki. I have never had one do this myself. Also the tips of each bare spike looks like it's attempting to grow something, do the usually put out keikis from the end of the already bloomed spikes or could it be its going to bloom again? She asked my advise but I've never seen this on any of mine. We are not sure if she should cut the old spikes off the plant now. Can you help?
