Citrus produce fruit on new wood. Pruning removes the new wood, therefore if you constantly prune a citrus tree your tree will not, or better stated, cannot produce fruit.

@johnmerr Any place on net where I can see pics of your orchard? Would love to see the thousands of fruit laden trees and works behind it.
