CCC, Your fertilizer is Cactus fert? This would be good to use at 1/2 strength. The seedlings look healthy and can live in those pots all summer. I usually pot mine up separately if started in a communal tray when they have 6 true leaves, there is no need for you to.

Give them good strong light, even outside if warm enough. Accustom to hot sun if this is the situation.

Your new seeds could be stored, but the longer (1yr. or more) they will lose percentage of viable seed.

Right now is a good time to start, then you have all summer to get them to a size to go through the winter.

Evenly moist for seedlings. Holes in pots to drain. Misting is fine occasionally, but not necessary all the time.

About the seeds. It's coming in the mail from Europe so I'm not sure when they'll arrive. I'm giving it a month at most and worried that August/September may be too short of good weather to grow to decent size (?) but I could be wrong. I mean the rate on these are pretty good so far. The only thing is I don't have and probably won't be buying heat pads or lamps any time soon so I could be setting up for disappointment (?) :-/ unless it could be done.

CCC, I can understand your dilemma. Definitely would want to keep seedlings only a few months old under lights through out the winter months. Do not want young seedlings to go dormant if possible. They will survive, but takes a long time for them to bounce back.

If you do not sow the seeds, store them until Jan/Feb next year. I store mine in their little bags, inside a Ziplock bag, inside a Small Tupperware container in the crisper of the fridge. Have done this with all my seeds for many months without ill effects.
