It's has been like this for a while. I remember it still looked normal around 2pm. It looked like this by 6 pm. It's going to be normal again by 8pm. I will post a picture later when it's back to normal. Btw, it 84F today....not sure it's relevant.

Interesting... some kind of waterlogging issue... if it is 84F outside -it can be higher at some point on the leaves..

I've seen this before.

Never could pin down a cause for it, and the house is fairly well temperature-controlled.

I thought that maybe it was caused by too much LIGHT. I may have moved my plant to a less well-lighted spot.

FWIW, it eventually went away ... with no evident lasting damage.

I took this picture in the next morning. It's back to normal.

I kept it in a salad box most of the time and hand water if needed.

Hello Elsa, I am not sure I would continue to keep it in a salad box. Your "'baby" is ready size wise for the outside world. At this point it may help if she lives in her permanent spot outside of a humid source (salad box) based on what Irina said about "cell bursting". Just guessing here because I don't know.

Your soil mix looks good for wicking. About 1/2 soil and 1/2 perlite? Just add a wick and you are good to go.

If you prefer to hand water,,,,,then you are all set. Put it in its permanent spot and see what happens! Looks like a nice healthy little baby,,,good job!!! Rosie

Yes, I moved it outside of the box and far away from bright light. It doesn't show any spot on the leaves.
