but hope this forum is still active. I started making stained glass pieces and windows last November. Yesterday a friend who is moving to an apartment, gave me a grinder, tumbler, band saw, books on stained glass and mosaics, and multiple pieces of glass! Christmas in June! I am buying a glass kiln from her as well to begin making small fused pieces. Here is a small piece I made as well as a window I am working on. Excuse the Sharpie still on the glass and also I ended up taking off the outer foil, grinding the edges to even them up and framing with lead. In the window the design glass looks black but is actually two shades of plum waterglass. Only the left side had been ground when I made this pic.
