It should be fine if you retrellis. What kind of cucumber are you growing?

Try using clippers to cut the tendrils that have wrapped themselves, rather than trying to unwind them - they will usually just break & rip otherwise.

This particular plant is a Straight Eight variety, but I also have a Muncher variety. Unfortunately, since my original post, the squash beetles have arrived. Now to deal with them as well! Ugh, it's always something! Lol
