LOOKING FOR AN ID ON THIS SALVIA

I am in zone 6 in the US. I found this salvia at Walmart a few days ago, but, like many plants sold there these days, the only identifying feature is it's genus name. No variety ID. I have many salvia in the sylvestris genus in an area in the front yard next to a 45 year old red maple, full sun, heavy soil with rabbit and deer traffic. A good chance to do some xeriscaping!

I googled and think I may have come up with a variety of Greggii, but which one? Most Greggii's I found are not hardy in zone 6. The closest I came to was one called Furman's Red. Monrovia lists it as hardy in zones 5 - 9. Another site 7 - 9. Most state 6 - 9. The label on the Walmart plant states 3 - 9. This sounds a bit far out, but, afterall, it's Walmart. Can anyone offer a postive ID for me? I'd really appreciate it. There was also one lone purple in amongst the reds which I also purchased. Exact same leaf, size and flower shape.

Thank you for any info you many have. Bill
