So, interesting thing happened to one of my garlic plants, which I grow in containers at the side of my house. Due to the crazy rains we had this spring, growth has been heavy and lush. So lush, in fact, leaves have been weighed down. In fact, one kind of broke (but remained intact) a few weeks ago.

Strange thing, it seems to have a scape growing out of the break. Stranger thing, is that the scape hasn't really come out, but is attached at both ends from the break!
