They all look wonderful. They are all very green. This will be my first year with Gerty. I hope she smells as amazing as everyone says. What is your opinion on Crocus? I don't have that one, but always like the pics I see.

Very nice. Congratulations! I can't imagine the spring flush starting so late, but I'm sure your roses don't shut down in August from summer heat, so it balances out that way. They look wonderful. Lisa

Your roses look beautiful and healthy--and so green. I love the area you grow them in. Is it a big raised bed? Those are lucky roses to have it. Diane

Fantastic! My Toronto roses are also just starting to bloom--isn't it exciting?

    Already blooming:

Campfire, Bolero (new!), four Double Knockouts, Julia Child (one bloom anyway), four Oso Easy groundcover roses

Just about to pop any day now:
Heritage, Evelyn (new!), Honey Perfume, Bonica

Still a week or more away:
Wedding Bells, Beverly, Dark Desire, Summer Romance (new!), First Crush (new!), Canada Blooms (new!), Tabris (new!)

Barely any bud development so at least a few weeks off:
    Sexy Rexy, Anniversary Blush (new!)

I am getting more sawfly larva and especially a lot more aphids this year than in previous years so that's a bit of a bummer

They all look so fresh and lovely. My spring flush is long gone and gearing up for round two, hopefully AFTER the beetles are gone.

What a picturesque garden! Love it especially the raised bed! I wish my leaves were that green. I got lots of blooms opening up but unfortunately so are the blackspots. I've never seen so much bs so early in the season.

@ hcarnevale – Gerty is a hit and miss the fragrant is divine , Crocus is very
healthy comes back every year. Hardly any scent/fragrance though

@nanadoll thank you so much , a compliment from you means allot. yes that is a raised bed but I’m
still having allot of issues with drainage especial in the front I have had
lots of roses die due to drowning..it’s a working progress.

    @pretty petals – Thanks , please don’t remind of JB’s , hate
them makes me wanna quit growing roses

@HalloBlondie – Thanks you so much for your nice compliments
,your Crocus looks very healthy and huge blooms I see a slight tinge of pink ,I
can’t wait to see your blooms this year, I love your garden. I will definitely
    be posting more pictures

@JJpeace.. Thanks your too kind .The alfafa and kelp meal must have worked . I’m also seeing black
spot creeping up all over the place.

Blondie, you've got a heart--the center of your first Crocus Rose in your photos. So cute, and what a lovely rose.

rosecrazy, thanks and I love what you're doing with the rose bed--hope you get those drainage issues settled. What is the purple flower in the background of the second photo? It looks like a Rose of Sharon, but it couldn't be this early. Diane
