I need a dining table! And a little storage. Please excuse the mess, we are still moving back in from having our floors redone. The area is about 10' x 7'.

I am trying to decide between a corner dining nook, a table with a settee up against the wall, or a table floating in the middle of the space. I'm 36 weeks pregnant with our first baby, so whatever it is will need to be pleasing to the eye because it will be seen from the front door, but also child-friendly!

I also need to add a little storage to the area. In my mind, the most functional thing would be a set of wide drawers to the left of the fridge (accessible to the kitchen) with shelves hung above and wine glasses and stuff out of reach of the baby on them.

I'm not sure the style I want, but the rest of our house is a mix of beachy, mid century, a little rustic, and family pieces. I do love the boho beach mod look that is popular right now!
