Water PH- interesting

Did you know you can contact your city water department and they will tell you the Ph of the water. I'm a nurse so research is the norm for me. I was trying to figure out what is going on with a few of my violets, while fixing the thrips issue. I read the water report and found my Ph is 7.5-7.9 which if I add sulfur to my mix it will stop the issue of phosphate lock up. I'm going to give it a try and see what happens. Such a busy week taking care of the little violets. Still sad they don't have blooms anymore.

Also, I'm adding activated charcoal 1 tbs to a gallon of soil mix. I read that can help too. I'm tracking the violets that I try the experiments on to see how they work.
