Yep, I just had to wait until morning...

Stinkbugs seem to lay their eggs in a tidier array than moths do.

It's a type of cut worm. Isn't it interesting that they change colors right before hatching?

I wondered at the different colors. They were so small, even with checking for squash bug eggs everyday (looking for that distinctive copper color) I might not have ever seen them. The wind knocked the plants over, and at first I thought it was just dirt. I had to get a magnifying glass to see them. They were still congregated at last check. If they're cut worms I'll squish them.

Whatever they are, they are going to eat that plant. I wonder if the white eggs weren't viable.
