I started some Cosmos Xanthos from seed and they are just starting to bloom, a lovely pale yellow color. I planted them along the fence of my veggie garden. Last year, I had Cosmos planted there, I can't remember the exact name, a single pink Cosmos bippinatus type. They reseeded like crazy, so I let some of the seedlings grow and now they are planted in the same area as the xanthos. So, I'm wondering, will these cross pollinate with the xanthos? I'm curious what kind of flower the new seeds would produce, pink, yellow, white?
