I took a picture of something I still have hope is allium, and then picture of one that's already flowered in a fizzle that I pulled out to show you the whole thing. Thoughts??

I have purple drumstick allium and they self-sow, but they don't bloom the next year. I only get short grass-like growth about 5" high. I assume the seeds need a few seasons to grow into a bulb and be big enough to bloom.

Your first picture looks like something else. I have a few of them, too, and don't know what they are. The tops form small round 'seeds' about the size of peas if you have what I have.

I hope someone with more experience gives you a better answer. Heidi
