I know, right ha!.. I'm sure it's perfect temps and humidity for rooting in there right now....had to start leaving the fan on all day and all night. It was getting intolerable being in there and I love drinking my coffee in my greenhouse looking at all the new growth :-D

I also have some cuttings rooting since last month and they are starting new growth. Including macrophylla splash, lisa, and pachycladas.

We have had so much rain...every day down pours! A lot of overcast skies so not so hot in my shade house. But there are mosquitos in there that keep me on the move.

Lydia due to your inspiration I cleaned my shade house (a few months ago) and I do spend a lot more time in there. And I just love to look and see what is growing and who is rooting.

It's so exciting when cuttings start growing! I have a Rebecca and Ruthie that have new growth after a month... and I thought my vitellina IML 1348 from Ricnfl was not going to make it... I noticed it withering and finally realized it was not properly seated in my soilless medium (for weeks)... I stuck it back down in there and covered with river stones to keep it in place and it finally rooted! Whew!

I really feel they help with rooting faster and of course hold the cuttings in place.....tlbean, can't wait to see your macrophylla splash!

Where do you all find river stone/ rocks? Exactly Lydia is using!

The stones I use I bought at home depot. $5 for a good size bag

I've been using rocks more and more. Another thing they are good for is preventing fungus gnats.
