To HalloBlondie - not sure if they are so happy together...LOS is pretty much taking over that spot and almost devouring DES ...may have to move her... LOS is pretty much exploding, if you look closely you can see several octopus canes shooting up about 5' up ...already had to cut one of them as it was thrusting out crossing a walkway...almost 3/4" thick ...very "vigorous"...and it was "own root"

I remember when you posted your first photos of these 2. Is this your 2nd flush? If so, that was fast!

Hi totoro - yes, second flush....both of these seem very healthy and prolific..but they are new from David Austin...let's hope they stay that way...just look at the growth of some of the canes on the LOS in just 4 months of growth...
