Weird scar/blemish on caudex

I'm still pretty new with Adenium and found this issue. I think it may have started when I was trying to learn how to wire my plant into a certain form. The wire did rub that area slightly. So that was many months ago and this is how it looks. It looks a lot worse now than the initial wire mark. I don't feel or see any rot. Do you think that's just a scar or so they get infections of some sort? It's firm and dry to touch.

    Candice, It looks dry and more than likely is just recovering from tissue damage. Keep watch of it for any softness. You could scrape it away with sharp tool if concerned, then treat w sulfur powder or possibly the Super Glue. Hyn has used in many applications with great success.

    I had and still have wire marks on my first Bonsai efforts and the marks do last for years and eventually diminish as plant grows.
