It's not 'Bela' as that is a mophead. Not sure you will get a for-sure ID as there are so many blue lacecaps and they look very similar. And the coloring can be so variable depending on where/how it was grown.

I could make some suggestions but I'd like to wait to see what color the fertile (interior) flowers will develop as they mature. Offhand, I'd go with the KW cultivar 'Blueberries and Cream' as offering the closest resemblance in that product line.

Thanks, gardengal. I didn't know that the color of the Interior flowers change with maturity but will post a picture when that happens.

I've posted about KW hydrangeas many times - they're notoriously mis-labeled. Not to say KW doesn't grow some goodies, you just have to have a sharp eye to nab them.

I'd lean towards Teller Blue on yours, or some genetic adaptation thereof. The interior florets could open white or be a light blue.

Springwood, are you saying that the color of the interior florets is different for Teller Blue as opposed to Blueberries & Cream? Is one white and the other light blue?
