I like hoya with leaves like pubicalyx, long and pointy.

I like the types in the Pottsii group, especially the big-leaved ones like macrophyalla, and the patterned ones like callistrophylla and finlaysonii. I'm also drawn to the very narrow and long leaved ones, like minibelle, wayetti, shepherdii and shepherdell.

Yes, Denise. I love those too. I guess I'd also have to add Globulosa/Villosa to that list.

A Pubicalyx fan here too. Even beginners can grow them easily. I tend to lean toward splashy varieties too.

I'm really drawn to dominant veins and splash. I love my pointy blashernaezii too. :)

If it like ME, I LIKE it!! Lol which is the pubicalyx clan, kerriis, carnosas and their crosses :).....I used to have a huge meliflua which I loved because of it's thick, juicy leaves. Then it presented me with it's fuzzy, teddy bear looking flower ❤ wow!

Oh yay, I just received my first Meliflua.

Mine is a baby right now but I now how vigorous they are. I'll enjoy this stage as much as I can ha!

I seem to strive to be a little different. I like unique things from shoes to cars to my home, plants. I love unique plants, and am green with envy over all your pictures of the beautiful blooming plants here, that are not mine. lol But the hoya that has my heart is the plain old carnosa with a lot of silver stippling on dark green succulent shiny leaves.

Mine too, Laurie :D basically anything "old school" hoya leaf, thick and fleshy and speckly. So I love the carnosas, pubicalyx, obovata, ect.
