Thanks, Rick. I'm not going to get too attached to the buds. Some of the buds on my others have dropped for whatever reason. Haven't been able to figure it out.

Congratulations!! Wow, she IS loaded!

Was this one grown by you from seed? Perhaps you received it as a young plantlet from Marica? Adeniums are officially mature after age 3 yrs. As the plants mature they will stabilize and you will see less bud drop. The bloom colors may intensify, as well. So, don't worry about it for now ... Enjoy your blooms!

Top work it is a good example of a mini I'm planting alot of mini Arabicum DHA, and bang wang to make center piece in small suclent gardens. that one would look great in a larger bowl with mini suclents surrounding the D/R my taste it may not be yours.

Maria Elena, In Septenber 2016, Marica told me it was 6 months old. If I remember correctly she told me that it was seed grown it not by her. I think she had purchased it a few months before but as she starts getting into the hobby a bit further, her tastes had changed. Anyway, I guess that would make it just over a year old at this point.

Hi Peter. Thank you. I'm fairly new to Adenium growing. Started collecting less than a year ago and now up to 23 plants. 9 I started from seed last Fall. All of mine I purchased because of the flowers or what the flowers were advertised to be. Still waiting for most to see how true they will be. I'm still trying to figure out my preferences but for one I'm a sucker for a pretty flower.

What a gorgeous little adenium!!! I've had desert roses for several years but didn't know until last year how many varieties they have. After collecting about 15 of them I had an epidemic of seed pods and the obsession began! I shared those seeds with so many friends! I kept my favorite seedlings and gave the rest away hoping others would become as obsessed like me. I've found seed pods already this year and can't wait to share again. I hope to pollinate some of the grafted ones I have and see what I can create. Seeing your healthy little plant gives me great hope of what is yet to come.

I've had a couple of flowers each on 3 different plants. So far, no seed pods. But then, I don't do anything to help the process along, either. I let nature take its course. What will be will be. If pods form, then cool. But, for now, I'm fine if they don't, too.

Maricaaaaaa! So very nice to see you here! My heart is smiling just seeing this post. Tyler's plant IS gorgeous. Sorry to hear yours was lost. Let''s see if anything of mine blooms before end of season ... I will let you know.

Hey Marica! Good to hear from you. I hope all is well. I'm sorry you lost your mini. Mine was in bloom for quite awhile. All of the blooms are gone now, but it's leafed out quite a bit. Here are some pictures that I took today.

Tyler, that mini plant is amazing, what an ability for such a small guy to put out so many buds and blooms, it looks great. Yes, in the years to come it should get even better!
