A very nice red! Sprekelia would make a very interesting cross if it sets. What is the fragrance like?

One of the two bulb doesn't seem to like any of the pollen. The other bulb seems to accept everything so far. I used sprekelia on a bloom of both.

The fragrance is noticeable in a small room, fruity. I had a merlot candle and it smells very much like that candle did.

Joey, You have a great selection of pollens there and I'm sure that something will take for you. The resulting seedlings will be special for sure!!

I"m trying again with some Green & Saturn on my latest flowering of Green Valley, (the first scape didn't take) and once again they look promising. I also had two summer blooms of Sweet Lilian which also received some G & S pollen and those look good so far too. I've yet to be successful getting any viable seedpods on Sweet Lilian but these look especially green and shinny, maybe it's just my imagination! :-))

Fingers crossed for you too, Donna! I have some seedlings with Sweet Lilian in them but I think that I used her pollen. Maybe she is very special and accepts only G&S :-)))

For me, getting seeds from this one is perhaps even more exciting than purchasing seed from even more interesting mixes. I suppose everyone feels especially proud of pairings they chose.
