Thanks hun....I'm still about 8 weeks out from our move back to the states. I've ordered a bunch of seed catalogs to go thru and help me decide what I want :) Previous owners of the house were "apparently" into square foot gardening, and the entire back yard is already set up with beds so at least THAT part of it will be easy. Its a blank canvas at the moment other than the overgrown azaleas all along the front of the house.

Will have to make a diagram of the house/yard and see what gets sun, how much, when.....etc. Zone I think is 8B

You are so lucky that you moved into a garden- ready house. We have been shopping around for a bigger property but dreading the task of restarting the garden again.
