Got this Renanthera Kalsom 'Red Dragon' by mail from Hawaii last week and repotted it two days ago. I'm in Florida so it spent three or four days in the mail.

Roots looked pretty good - they were in a plastic pot with a chunky bark mix, and I put them in a clay pot with lava rock. I removed only a few, and seemed to do little damage to the good roots in the process. I keep my vandas bare root usually, but I've been experimenting with lava rock because I can't water twice a day during the summer. So far they all seem to love it.

Bottom leaf was starting to yellow when I repotted it and has since gone canary yellow - this is probably just shock, and a response to being dry for a week in transit, right?
