Germination Time

I have wondered about the differences in germination time I read about here.

I have some new seeds. A. somaliense. I put them to soak for the regular two hours.

Life happened.

Partway through the third day of soaking, I noticed one seed had sprouted a root. I then got busy and put them in potting mix. Now I have the first above ground shoots, 7 days after planting, 10 days after putting them to soak.
