Looks great and nice colour.

What's most amazing to me is how it can spend the winter in my garage every year, and handle all other weather thrown at it up here in stride. I've had it for many years now, and it still surprises me.

Low 30's F would be the coldest it gets in there. Unheated, attached garage.

I keep my cycads in my detached garage as well, but the zone is a tad warmer (zone 7), there is a LOT of southern exposure sun, and some supplemental heating. Your pic is AMAZING! My cycad collection is limited to Cycas revolutas and thousarsii, Encephalartos natalensis, Dioon educe, and Zamia pumila and furfuracea. I WANT ONE NOW! LOL!

This is my only cycad that tolerates those conditions. Cold, north facing window, so I keep it on the dry side, too. Think I got this one as a seedling from Jurassic Garden years ago.

All my others...Zamia furfuracea and pumila, cycas revoluta and siamensis, encephalartos lebomboensis, and Dioon edule...I keep in a cool sunroom over the winter.

I want that. Give it to me.......wink.
