Susanne, the answer to your question is definitely yes. Saint Teresa lemon is a rather easy tree to root, and Saint Teresa rooting's are fast growers (as are all lemons).

Meyers are one of the easiest to root from a cutting; the downside is the root is rather weak and susceptible to many ailments. In containers that is rarely a problem; but planted in ground it is a bad choice.

Those will never be planted in the ground here. Planning on just set the rooted (wishful thinking) cuttling in a pot with soil and continue growing. Or if succsessful might try one of those air rooting pots
