I would not recommend it. However, you can trim them and place the trimmings in a warm, dry, yet shady spot in lightly moist soil and they will root!

Yup have to take action, since most branches on the larger ones have been bet, plants uprooted from small pots...

anyone aware if we can wrap the cuttings in saranwrap and keep in freeze ?

cuttings probably would not stand a freeze. a dip in cinnamon and hanging to dry inside might work … your ambient humidity is the key
