I'd go for a bright contrasting color, like a golden yellow or medium red...

Cobalt blue?

Maybe look at thermal spring it's on same card as embellished blue but darker

Dark charcoal (almost black) or black

Hmmm my first reaction is also in the yellow family.

Here's a great website to help you choose complimentary or contrasting color schemes. Photoshop picks your darker RGB color to be #446287 and the lighter RGB as #9ca8b3. I personally think a terra-cotta color exterior door would look best. If you prefer a complimentary color, then I would consider a deep navy as well. However, I would do a different color for the interior in order to compliment your furnishings.
