Alaska comes in a range of colors - red, orange, cream, yellow - but all with that distinctive variegated foliage. Seed is usually sold as a mix.......was yours just labeled 'red'?

no it was a mix. This is one of the many plants. Just 2 plants have flowered yet. The first was orange and this 2nd was red. The orange was also nice, but the red is just WOW!

If you like that red color, you might want to try Empress of India. It's pretty intense and the foliage is even very dark.

Very pretty! I never knew the leaves could be white and green! I have had the all green w/ red before.
