I looked earlier in the year and they did not have these, so I was surprised to come across these now.

Citrus at costco.com

$50 for 5 gallon shipped.

Avail on dwarf, semi, standard rootstocks.

Would be really interested to know where they are getting these from.

I'm not saying this is a great deal, but it may be an option. Costco is known for their good 'return' policy.

No kumquats offered, so of course I am sad :(

I do not have ANY oranges yet, so I would have to take a look at owari and washington to see if they are worth doing in containers.

If you get a W&N tree that'll be a score, they have really nice and vigorous trees.

yup, very tempting and just one click away for a satsuma. And what I really like it that I can choose the size. dwarfs are about two to three years old and 18" to 24" tall in a 3 gallon pot. I wish I would know where they are coming from

Willits & Newcomb most likely. I noticed they won't deliver to any citrus growing states except CA which usually means it's coming from CA. All the citrus trees I have ever purchased from Costco in person have been from W&N. Others on the forum have purchased at Costco and they were from Frantz I believe. When you get the tree take a pic of the tag and any color swatches on the trunk and scion we can you ID the rootstock with the colors if it's a W&N tree.

Seriously, why is the bonsai option not a kumquat? In addition to at least a meiwa and nagami. Well I'll keep checking...

I am somewhat impressed that there is a lemon offering other than meyer. As I have been looking around, it is commonly the only lemon some places have. Pfft.

Susanne, you should also not look at any of Laura's posts, because she will tempt you a lot further.

Since participating here I added a couple of trees after four years brake. Wondering what that means? There will be one more this fall if the Meiwa is back at FW and then a brake again. See what lives and what dies, growth rate and need ideas for space space for winter.

I also see a 2pack of resin wine barrels at costco.com.

can anyone estimate the volume capacity? Based on the measurements of my largest pot, I think they are larger than 10 gallon.

I saw them at Costco the other day but didn't look at what their capacity was, definitely more than 10 gallons. Probably closer to 20-25 gallon cap.
