Yeah, good stuff! The only thing is, around here at least, the stuff is fairly expensive versus a DIY bark-based potting mix. Then again, finding suitable pine or fir bark is not always so easy. I guess it won't break the bank if one is growing a handful of plants, but when you have to fill 10+ 5 gallon pails...

I agree. Orchid mix is a great pepper mix, but it is usually way expensive. But if you have some and it isn't going to be used for anything else, don't waste it, treat some peppers to it. Let us know how it works out for you.

Exos07 I will mate I got this stuff from a store called b&m for in Scottish money is only £3.50 for 10 litres I will get more as it's going down in price and there's loads lol TG

Update I put a hungerian hot wax in a two gallon pot with this stuff it looks great about a foot high young plant so will keep you guys updated!!! TG

Two gallon pot might be a little small, I would suggest at least three gallon containers for peppers. Five US gallon is optimal in my opinion and 7 gallon and bigger is probably overkill.

It is up to you, but many pepper plants have grown fine in two gallon pots.
