Kind of typical for red and white AVs - the blossom colors often "bleed". Some people like it - some not - but it is a healthy well grown plant - pleasure to look.

I love Optimaras. So I plan to collect all the bicolor ones or double flower ones I can get my hands on. I like their bloom their brains out then rest style.

Hmm - I guess Selective Gardener is the place to go... Ka-ching!

The positive part - is they are really good growers and bloomers.

Rosie already gave me Cora and Millenia leaves. I would like to get them locally so I don't have to pay too much for Optimaras. But some of them like National Park series, I am willing to trade through mails.

Looks good! I imagine your growing conditions are cooler than mine with yours displaying so much white. It's certainly one of my favorites. Here's a photo of typical blooms on mine, though in summer heat I get a lot of deep red with less white on them. I've had my plant a number of years and do love it. I happen to like the changeable 'bleed' on mine.
