I only got the starter from cvvioletry on eBay this spring. It grows fast and easy. The flower is even bigger now after a few days. I just cut a leaf to root because I read on the board it sports after a while. I am going to always have a newly grown one on hand. I love this one. So delicate, big and full.

Yes, it kinda sucks when you find a violet you like that is so umm for lack of a better word, "sporty". You can never trust your plantlets till they bloom...and even then :)

Jeff, this one is so worth it even with one bloom. Giant and shaped like a ball.

That is one nice bloom. A bloom that big that doesn't "hangy-downy" is good to find. I grew Blue Mist for a long time and it never bloomed. I do wish now that I had popped it under some lights.

Yeah, I hate those hangy downy flowers. This one is definitely going on the list. Perhaps even bumped a few up closer to the top.

I just added it to my want list....
